Ventimiglia has a variety of properties to stay in from B&B's, Apartment rental, Small hotels, Guesthouses and even camping! HOTELS
As Ventimiglia is a beach side destination (as well as a portal between France and Italy for onward travel, most of the hotels in Ventimiglia are not typical by worldwide standards. If you're after a chain hotel American style you're best off staying in Nice or Monte Carlo.
The Trip Guru's Personal Recommendations:
Pros: 1 min walk to the beach, 1 min walk to the popular Friday markets, Spotlessly clean rooms, Friendly owners, Cafes literally at your door, Walking distance to everything you need
Cons: Beds are hard (unless you like that!), only stairs to the 3 floors (so ask for a room on level 1 if you don't like them).
2. La Riversa
Pros: Swimming pool, beautiful views, fantastic owners, a hidden gem
Cons: Just out of the old town in the hills, wifi not very fast

Pros: Lovely rooms, friendly owners, walking distance to everything, recently renovated
Cons: soundproofing of the rooms, hard beds (again, a personal preference)
Pros: Private parking (which is a bonus if you have a hire car), soft bed, sitting area, 2 min walk to beach
Cons: 10 min walk to new town and 15 min walk to old town
